Accessibility

This statement covers the website meltemi.email, provided by Entro314 Labs ΜΟΝΟΠΡΟΣΩΠΗ Ι.Κ.Ε. (Entro314 Labs Single Member P.C.). The target is EN 301 549 (WCAG 2.1 level AA). The honest status today: partially conformant — the measures below are built and tested by hand, but no external audit has been performed yet, and this page will say so until one has.

What is built in

• Every page works from the keyboard: the content column is a focusable scroll region, so nothing is trapped behind the fixed-viewport layout, and focus is visible throughout.
• prefers-reduced-motion is honored by removing motion, not shortening it — the animated sea renders as a still frame, and interface animations are dropped.
• The animated scene and its inhabitants are decorative and marked aria-hidden; everything informative is text.
• Form fields are labelled, required state is declared, and the beta form announces its outcome — success, duplicate or failure — through status and alert roles, never color alone.
• The site is fully localized in eight languages, including right-to-left layout for Arabic, and the language switcher is a plain set of links.
• Every page also exists as plain Markdown (/index.md, /trust.md, …) — a flat-text alternative to the visual layout, readable by any tool.

Known limitations

• Headlines render over an animated scene; their contrast is reinforced with a halo but can vary with the scene behind them. The Markdown mirrors carry the same content with no scene at all.
• The animated water cannot be paused independently of the operating system’s reduce-motion setting — it stills on its own a few seconds after loading.
• The legally driven pages, this one included, are published in English only.
