Terms of use

These terms cover this website and the Meltemi desktop application in its private beta. They are between you and Entro314 Labs ΜΟΝΟΠΡΟΣΩΠΗ Ι.Κ.Ε. (Entro314 Labs Single Member P.C.) (the legal notice has the full identity). Using the site or the beta means accepting them; nothing in them limits rights the law gives you that cannot be limited.

The beta

• The beta is free of charge and provided for testing. There is no price, no subscription and nothing that renews — if that changes, it changes in new terms you see before paying anything.
• It is a private beta, so the interface will move under you. Your mail is the part that is safe: it lives in an encrypted store on your own disk, nothing deletes permanently, and any conversation exports as .eml.
• Your mail, your drafts and everything you write remain yours. These terms grant no rights over your content — the app only needs to process it on your machine to function.
• The beta is provided as is, without warranty of fitness or availability, to the extent the law allows. Liability for intent, gross negligence, and anything that cannot be excluded by law is not excluded.

Your side

• Credentials for your mail provider are yours to keep safe; the app stores them in your OS keychain or an encrypted file on your machine, and this site never receives them.
• The sending features are for mail people agreed to get. Marketing campaigns cannot start without a working one-click unsubscribe, and the suppression list refuses addresses that asked you to stop — do not attempt to work around either. Sending spam is a breach of these terms and of your mail provider’s.
• The sync API exists for the app. Registering devices or calling it outside the app, probing it, or working around its rate limits is not permitted.

Ending it

You can stop at any time by deleting the app; your mail store stays on your disk and keeps working as files. Beta access can be withdrawn where these terms are breached. Either way, nothing about leaving depends on this site still existing — the deal page describes the exit in detail.

The name and the site

The Meltemi name and this site’s content belong to the provider. The capacity model the battery runs on, @kumbatio/energy-system, is separately published under MIT.

Law and changes

Greek law applies, without displacing the consumer protections of the country you live in. When these terms change, the date above changes, and beta participants are told at the address they gave before a material change takes effect.
